Sunshine Cinema, an award-winning NGO using solar-powered cinema to create social impact, is seeking a qualified and experienced Freelance Graphic Designer to join our team on a retainer basis. We’re looking for a creative professional who is passionate about using their skills to make a difference, with a commitment to delivering visually compelling designs that enhance our projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- Availability to work on a retainer basis for 20-30 hours per month, with consistent weekly hours dedicated to creating engaging and impactful designs for our projects.
- Experience in designing a wide range of assets, including social media graphics, websites, presentations, reports, and promotional materials.
- Ability to deliver quick turnarounds without compromising on quality.
- Experience or interest in social justice and working in the NGO space is highly advantageous.
The Role: In this role, you will provide ongoing graphic design support, creating assets that amplify our mission. Your designs will play a key role in important conversations around topics like youth empowerment, active citizenship, climate change, gender equality, mental health, and more. You’ll contribute to the impactful visual storytelling that drives our projects, with tasks ranging from website design elements to various digital and print assets.
Compensation:
- R350 per hour, with flexibility depending on the project scope and number of hours worked each month.
