Ready to take your impact campaign to the next level? Sunshine Cinema’s Impact Facilitator Network (IFN) is a dynamic team of trained, experienced youth leaders who use the power of film to inspire action, spark dialogue, and create change in communities across Southern Africa.
Our graduate facilitators are local media entrepreneurs, equipped with Sunbox solar cinema kits and trained through our University of Cape Town Impact Facilitator Course. They combine storytelling, community engagement, and facilitation skills to deliver campaigns that reach audiences where traditional media often can’t like rural and peri-urban areas.
What We Do
From youth unemployment and gender-based violence to conservation, climate action, and media literacy, our facilitators:
- Host solar-powered community screenings of relevant films
- Lead inclusive, action-focused discussions that connect stories to local realities
- Partner with NGOs, brands, and advocacy groups to mobilise communities
- Produce digital content: including photography, videography, podcasts, and social media assets to extend campaign reach
