Nozipho Swelindawo is a creative entrepreneur, filmmaker, and community builder from Lusikisiki, South Africa. She is the founder of Imbudu Community Arts Centre and Imbali Films, initiatives dedicated to nurturing creativity, storytelling, and social change in underserved communities.
With a background in acting, film facilitation, and mentorship—shaped through her studies at Nelson Mandela University and the University of Cape Town—Nozipho harnesses the power of storytelling as a tool for healing, empowerment, and transformation.
In 2023, she was selected as a Sunshine Cinema Spark Impact Fellow and participated in the Southern Africa Locarno Academy, further cementing her role as a rising voice in African cinema. She also serves as the assistant producer of The Art Centre Show, a platform that profiles creatives across the Eastern Cape.
