Sunshine Cinema offers intensive workshops aimed at equipping aspiring storytellers with the skills to produce compelling short films using their mobile smartphones. These workshops are available to  activists, media professionals and community leaders who aspire to tell honest and meaningful stories about their communities and want to learn how to leverage these stories to create a positive impact.

At the in-person or online training, the focus is on key themes such as: developing skills in visual storytelling, ethical journalism and impact production. Participants will receive technical training on producing visual stories using smartphones, as well as training in the documentary approach to storytelling. The ultimate goal is to enable participants to create short, engaging visual stories that are ready for distribution on social media, digital publications and messaging apps.
