Kgabo Legodi is a 2022 Spark Impact Graduate from Limpopo Province, South Africa. She is a researcher, journalist, and Certified Youth Climate Champion with WWF South Africa, actively advocating for Climate Justice and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while engaging in community development.
Kgabo serves on the Youth Advisory Committee for South Africa at the Youth Empowerment Institute in Kenya and was recognized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for her role in the 6th Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Kuala Lumpur. In 2024, she co-produced a documentary on the impact of mining on communities, which premiered at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Her efforts in sustainability and climate literacy have been acknowledged by various institutions, including News24 and The Mail & Guardian.
